 外國文的翻譯，真非易事! 此次預科考題，是我出的，中有三句翻譯:

A man must indeed know many things which are useless to a child.

Must a child learn all that the man must learn?

Teach a child what is useful to him as a child.

這裏面沒有一個難字，沒有一點難的句法，然而我們幾個教員都翻不出一種滿意的樣本。
