檔案館館藏丁文江先生演講「科學化的建設」錄音唱片二張，該唱片由Columbia公司發行，錄製中央廣播電台於民國24年5月7日丁文江（1887-1936）先生的演講，錄音總長約18分鐘，演講後另有對丁先生的簡介。

丁文江先生為著名地質學家，曾任中央研究院總幹事。該演講是丁先生任職總幹事期間完成的。此演講中清楚點出當時的國家問題在於生產落後。要增加生產，則必須有科學化的建設。建設費用不能超過國民經濟的能力，應有輕重緩急的標準，統一的職權，以及建設未經實行以前，必須有充分研究與設計等四項具體建議。

The Archives, IHP, owns two recordings on disc of Ding Wenjiang’s lecture titled “Scientized Constructions,” totaling 18 minutes, which was first presented on Central Broadcasting Station on May 7, 1936, and then recorded and released by Columbia Records. Ding was a well-known geologist and former director-general of Academia Sinica. The lecture argues that the main issue facing China at the time was lagging production. To improve production, the people must devote themselves to so-called scientized constructions. Concerning specific ways and approaches that could be implemented, Ding suggests that cost should not exceed the economic capability of the citizenry, executing procedures must have a standard based on priority, a unified authority needs to be established, and thorough research and design is required before acting.
